Trainers Quest 2008
St. Paul

I competed in a colt starting competition in St. Paul this past weekend. With two strong competitors I came out winning second place and being the youngest female in Canada to compete in a colt starting competition. I came home with some new tools and lots of new friends. This was a great learning experience and I hope to take part in more competitions like this in the years to come. Huge thank you's go out to Lori Cote and her family for organizing this event! Also this wouldn't have been possible with out our judges and all the volenteers. Thankyou!

BG Firelfy

Fire is a 4 yearold pintabian colt from Bob Williams at Polar Pintabians. Everything went perfectly smooth; I put my first ride on him in days 3 of working with him with no problems at all. He stands for the farrier is broke to ride aswell as bareback, jumps, goes through the wall of trust, stands on bridges and tarps, crosses water, and is broke to drive. As well as all of these basics he also lies down on command and waves with an introduction to the bow. Fire is now back at home for the winter; we are looking into bringing him back for another season to show at the arabian circut this time, but this is still undecided.
